Staffordshire Police tasked us with creating a campaign to reduce fatal collisions, focusing on dangerous behaviors like speeding, careless driving, and distractions. With 42 fatalities in a year, the “Look Again” campaign aimed to make drivers rethink their actions through impactful visuals and messaging across various platforms, including social media, bus ads, posters, and petrol pump nozzles.
The core challenge was adapting the message for diverse formats. Bus ads and posters used bold colors, large typography, and strong imagery to grab attention quickly, while social media allowed for deeper engagement with additional visuals and tips. For smaller spaces, like petrol pump nozzles, we kept designs minimal yet impactful, ensuring clarity and visibility.
To maintain consistency, we developed brand guidelines with adaptable typography, colors, and imagery aligned with Staffordshire Police’s identity. This ensured the message’s strength across all formats.
The campaign successfully raised road safety awareness, engaging diverse audiences and sparking conversations. Social media saw high engagement, and public-facing materials increased visibility. Staffordshire Police received positive feedback, with the campaign contributing to greater participation in road safety initiatives and promoting safer driving habits.
